Lora and Aaron’s Engagements

August 1, 2011 – “Books sit lonely on a shelf until someone decides to pick them up and delve into their pages.  ‘Without a human voice to read them aloud, or a pair of wide eyes following them by flashlight beneath a blanket, they have no real existence in our world . . . They lay dormant, hoping for the chance to emerge.  Once someone starts to read them, they begin to change.  They take root in the imagination, and transform the readers.’  (The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly)  Stories need to be read to bring them to life.

Lora and Aaron’s love story begins with their passion for books.  Aaron is an aspiring writer of fantasy novels.  The Salt Lake Library seemed a perfect place for their engagement session.  It is such a treat to photograph a couple whose natural chemistry and love for each other is wonderfully strong.  It really comes through in their photos.  The sunset gods were smiling on us as we took some photos at the Great Salt Lake.  We had one of the most spectacular sunsets that we have ever seen!!  Aaron proposed to Lora at sunset as they love watching them together so we were hoping for some great photos.  It was SOOO hard to narrow down our favorites!  Lora and Aaron, we can’t wait for your wedding in St. George on 11/11/11.  What a treat you are to photograph.  Enjoy . . . ”  Glade and Corinne
