Welcome home, Elder Tyler Andrew “Danger” McCombs!

February 23, 2011 – “Two years went by surprisingly fast, yet it seemed it had been forever since we had seen our son, Tyler.  He has been serving in the Johannesburg South Africa mission.  What a life-changing experience for a nineteen year old young man!  He left a boy and truly came home a man.  As we gathered at the airport, it seemed surreal.  Could this really be happening?  What a sweet reunion to see our red-headed seasoned missionary walking towards us amongst the other passengers.  How good it felt to hug and squeeze him again and to have him home safe and sound.  We are grateful for the growth, guidance and protection the Lord has given him over these past two years.  Lives have been changed for eternity . . . most of all his own.  There is no replacement for a mission.  The blessings have outweighed the sacrifices!!  Here are some of our favorite photos from our happy reunion.”  Glade and Corinne
